460 DA Owners Thread

The 35lb was dragging and I needed something so I wouldn't be woken up constantly by anchor drag alarm. In addition I have the swivel and a bridle for much better hold.

I know it seems like a lot more weight but trust me, you'll love it. The 60 we as the and is the way to go.

In my opinion, 35 is far too small of an anchor for my boat.

Hope this info helps.

I anchor in mostly mud/sand in the cheapeake bay and also have all chain rode.
Ok, thanks. Yeah, I was thinking maybe the 46lb Ultra would suffice with more weight and wider flukes than the 35# Delta I am replacing. I just recalculated my gross weight and 27/60 is more appropriate.

Did you also purchase the Ultra ring?

No on the ring. I have a nice bridle and think the ring is overkill.

How do I get to hot water heater in my 2004 dancer? Is it next to where the washer/dryers is or behind it?

I ordered the Ultra 27/60 and it came in on Friday. I installed it yesterday and she is a beauty. Fits my bow roller perfectly. Thanks for your assistance/advice.

I know it’s been a while but I also have the 60 on my 460. Get the 60.

I am installing additional speakers in the cockpit steps. What is the best route to run the wire from the port side to under the dash?

Hello, anyone know the shaft size or what size Zincs are needed for 2002 460? Looking to replace mine and looking to order.
Thanks

Gee thanks folks - I just opened the wallet and pulled out a few boat dollars for an Ultra. A little jewelry for father's day!

Hi folks,
Looking at future boat charger upgrade. Currently have the old PD2050. Any suggestions on what to replace it with?

Hi all! This may be a silly question, but how do you get to/change the filter
on the Cruisair cockpit unit, under the companion seat a the helm?

Couple of screws on the seat right behind it…. Remove seated, remove screws , change/clean filter

My wife and I anchor out a lot these days and I have a few questions.

* I have two 8D batteries (both for starting port/starboard) engines and they also serve as house batteries.
* I have two group 31 batteries for the bow thruster
* I have 1 separate battery for the generator.

Since we anchor out a lot, is there a better setup?
Is there a way we can tap into the 24v (2 batteries for the bow thruster) since it's only used minimally?

I'm not looking to go spend money but would love to get more time at anchor without the generator (if possible) while taking advantage of the setup I currently have.

Thoughts? Anyone else here anchor out a lot?

BTW, when it's super hot out, the genny is running. I love the quiet but I also love staying cool :)
