460 DA Owners Thread

Perhaps you could have a diver look at the bottom. Cheaper and easier.

Agree. I will pull the boat out and/or get a diver but I'm having a hard time understanding why I wouldn't feel any type of vibration if something was fouled on the bottom and/or if I picked up something. typically, if the props are fouled, you'd hear some sort of vibration. This is across both engines and I can barely keep rpm, no black smoke and everything I've read from Tony Athens site points me towards fuel (lack of) so my first test is to change the RACORS and filter at the engines. Can't hurt to try.

I would do the racors and clean or replace air filters first at the same time hire the diver to look at the underside.

Looking to replace my sliding door tracks on the 460- has anyone done this and know the measurements off-hand? I need to send them to FP Marine when i order them and figured someone has already done this and they should be the same?

I’m having a wood top custom made by a friend. We designed the table top to match the original size and mount on the original base, but with folding leafs that double the size. I’ll post pics once we get a little further along. I did get a quote from https://marineteakfurnitureandwoodwork.com/
but decided to let my friend take the time (a long time!) to make it.

We had a friend make the table for our 340. It took months! It was worth the wait, but I am hoping to find something before I ask him again.

I like the idea of a fold out. to increase the size.

Thanks for your reply!

Here's another source, these guys are CSR sponsors and I believe they offer a CSR discount.

We are getting closer to our new Sea Ray! It goes in be hauled next week to repair the Swim platform (the owner damaged it during Memorial Day). It takes months to get that appointment!

We are accepting the survey done in July of 2020. We hauled the boat to check the bottom, Props etc. She looks great!

Just got the oil sample results and all is in normal range.

When we took the boat to the haul out, we had our mechanic check out the engine room and all the resides there. All looked good but for a pin hole in the port engine turbo. Hmmmm....
