Hi folks. I just had my new props put on and didn’t realize that I had shaft zincs and also didn’t realize I have 4 swim platform zincs (doh!). So I have to get her pulled again. What zincs should I get for the swim platform? I believe they are 2” but can’t find any information. Thank you!
Blown:
do you happen to have the scans of those props? I am taking my 2nd set to the shop so that would be a good comparison.
Also you said 19-20 MPH. Is that correct or are you talking knots?
thanks
I want to add a bow flagpole for a burgee. It seems our rails are 1 1/8 or 1 1/4. All the rail mount holders I can find only go to 1". Any solutions?
It worked on mine.My bow has a pretty good bend at the very forward part. Can this straight fitting go over the bend?

I installed it on the stbd. side right before the bend.
It fits on my bow.
For those of you with the 460, hard top and hydraulic platform, what is your "NORMAL" cruise speed and rpm? I'm starting to think I have the slowest 460 on this forum and possibly in the USA ;_).
I'll start. at 2200rpm, I"m pushing approx 21mph
Blown284,
It's not a fast boat but it is beamy and handles conditions well. Ours is equipped like yours, hardtop and GHS platform. I'm in my fourteenth year of ownership of this 460DA and the weight tends to creep up, so I made a plan to get the 'unnecessaries' off the boat this year. It's down to around 35,500 lbs on the sling now, including dinghy.
Our vessel is currently propped at 23 X 25.5 and can reach 2650 WOT. There is some "magic" in the blade cupping or profile. So I usually run at 2250-2265, Aetna tachs, SMX pumps. Temperature gauges are pegged at just below 160F hour after hour. Since switching to a semi-synthetic 15W-40 from the Valvoline Blue last year, I've seen just a bit more consistency on temperature and oil pressure.
Last weekend we ran a total of 5 hours on Lake Huron in flat conditions at 20.0 knots average (less in a chop). Without the dinghy. That was with full fuel and half water. We will leave in two weeks for a 700Nm trip and I will keep track of things including GPH burn.
