I have an unstable (wobbly) table on the bridge of my boat. Any solutions out there for a quick secure fix for the screws pulling from the floor?

I had to remove mine, reseal it and reinstall. It leaked when I washed the bridge and got into the cockpit ceiling trim causing it to fill with water and sag quite badly...

The cockpit ceiling trim is easy to remove if you want to through bolt it. I used a paint scraper to pry it off. You can buy the replacement Christmas Tree plugs on amazon.

Thanks, very helpful. What did you use to fill the old holes?

To correct the listing problem has anyone removed the washer / dryer combo unit? I notice it is on the starboard side.
And does anyone even use the washer and if you have removed it what did you put in it’s place?

I would love to get rid of mine and put in some more refrigeration or a wine cooler . But the damn thing does come in handy..

I’ve been in two minds for a while now

As I recall it is pretty close to center line, doubt it would help with the list but given my preference I would have a nice snap on tool chest of drawers in the space of tools and spares, Wifey liked the idea of a washing machine though even if it was a POC that was pretty useless as a washer dryer combo.

Hey guys I plan to use fly bridge to sleep some people over this weekend. Do you guys know what cushions fill in table once it's collapsed? Thanks.

There is a separate filler cushion that fits on the bridge table when you use the short pole and put the table in its lowest position. It turns the entire rear of the bridge into a huge sun pad. No idea where it might be stored as we took the thing off the boat and left it at home.

Nice touch with all the upgrades.
Has anyone replaced vanity tops in the heads ?
I am thinking of setting the medicine cabinets back a few inches. Fabricate new counters with different sinks so you can get your head over the sink. I get more water on the floor than in the sink when I wash up.
I open the medicine cabinet when I brush my teeth. Gives a reasonably straight shot down at the sink!

Just wanted to share with you some mod’s and upgrades that were done as a part of my transom module extension. Almost there ...

The bad news is the shipwrights found this blister/delamination with no moisture or water ingress ... They said it was an easy fix.. Just the one area but still quite concerning.

On your trim tab, did you go with larger and if so how much larger? I've been thinking that I might upgrade to larger tabs on next haul out.

Yes, definitely went larger but the single ram couldn’t hold it down so a second was added. Not sure of the dimensions, I just told them to go as big as possible for the space available.

I can find out for you though.

That would be great, and would really be great to get feedback from you once you use boat with the bigger tabs how much improvement it makes. Seems like my boat at least needs a lot of tab down for running at planning speeds and would be nice to not need to use so much tab. I have to think yours will have a good bit less drag!

Very nice teak work! I'm sure you will really enjoy the extra cockpit space. It was quite a project you undertook.

Huge investment which I’ll never get back but never had any intention to moving up or out. Great boat the 420/44DB

I’m hoping the change is noticeable. Still going to put the ballast in the guest cabin so that should help keep the nose down a bit too. I’ll keep you posted.

I think noticeable is an understatement. Very nice can’t wait to see it finished
