I think I'll leave it up to the wife and just install it

I promise I’ll make a dedicated thread for this, I’m starting it now, but just to share more here this color change was the right choice I believe….

In the spirit of "what else do we have to talk about" I ordered one of these rigs this week. I'm hoping this vastly improves my experience in working above the rub-rail. I have a 7/9" Dewalt rotary that is an absolute beast. But I find it impossible to use on anything other than the hull sides and the flat foredeck area.
This guy is cheap...but has decent reviews. I'm hoping it's the perfect tool for the gunnel, walkways, transom, etc...

Wow! Mr big bucks. That’s nice. Look forward to hearing how easy it is to retrieve dinghy.Fancy stuff
I went for the whole kit including ratchet straps and pad eyes. It’s not cheap but I found stainless ratchet straps are pretty expensive even for “non-marine”
they also make custom inserts for our new Highfield 310CL so those are included as well

Looking to find and buy a 40' Sundancer with Cummins.
I just started to read this tread, great info.
Can I get some advise on about what would be a normal eco cruise speed and about what will the GPH be?
Thanks,
Bob
sundancers with cummins are restricted to later years. What year(s) are you considering? You'll find cummins in the 410 Express Cruisers around early 2000's but the sundancers of the same years mostly have caterpillars
I'm looking to buy a diesel 40' Sundancer around 2006 to 2009. I'm also considering the 380's and 390.
If you know someone wanting to sell one, please let me know or any leads would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Bob
Will do!
We have been looking at them on line and they are nice boats. The 420 is not much more than we were looking to spend, but it is definitely more boat then we need. What are some of the benefits to the 420 other then like the second head and a large galley countertop?
Thanks, Bob
I found them to feel quite a bit larger when comparing the two models and we were not constrained with what size we could go to so more boat meant more value to us. The biggest factor was availability. I knew I wanted diesel power and the 390/40’s available were all gas. Going into the 42/44 I found mostly diesel and ultimately our diesel powered 410 became available at the right time
