I launched Friday morning. Boat fired right up with no issues. Went out to get everything warmed up and checked out. All looked good, opened it up, played with the tabs and got up to this for a brief second. I don't even want to know what my GPH's were. Backed her down and idled back to the well. So far launch has been without a hitch.

Just an update on my light issue. After I investigated to see if the light and mount I posted the other day would work. I found that I don't have enough room for the mount behind my radar. Now trying to coming up with a plan B...

Does anyone have the specifications for the prop shafts for a 2000 410 Sundancer with 3126 CATS? I had a shaft straightened but it did not come out right so now I am going to replace them. If I can locate the specs I can do the swap in one day without loosing a lot of time. Any leads are appreciated.

If you were in Fl I'd steer you to General Propeller in Bradenton. They have the specs for most all shafts. You might give them a call anyway.

Hi - looking to get a camper canvas made for our 410 with this top, located in upstate NY on the Sacandaga Lake. Does anyone have any company recommendations or have any similar set up/templates you could share??

Is the photo you attached what you're looking for? If so I think that's generally referred to as a "slant back" canvas setup. That is the stock configuration. A camper back will have the more boxy, extended canvas.

The photo I attached is our current top, we have a slant back that needs to be replaced so we're looking for the camper boxy back similar to what you posted but are having issues finding a company able to accommodate the "hard top" canvas circle top we have.

I’m not sure how far he will travel, but Best Canvas in Ontario (Rochester) is our guy. He does amazing work, but like most of the really good ones is pretty far backed up. I would guess at this point you’d be looking at delivery very late in the season or next spring

For future reference i tracked down the following:
The 2000, 410 Sundancer equipped with twin V-drive 3126TA diesel engines was originally equipped with 22 x 23x 1.75", four blade Nibral props. The Michigan Wheel reference numbers were #639200 and #639201.

The prop shaft was supplied by General Propeller and was a 1.75" x 78 shaft. General Propeller #858548. The stuffing box was a Tides Marine part #SS-1750-3500.

Anyone happen to know the tool size for the rudder packing nuts? I'll need to find a crows foot or something to get in there and it's past due. Bilge pump running daily isn't a comfortable feeling! TIA.

(And yes, I know I'll probably have to replace the packing, but hoping to limp through summer.)

Not sure on exact size but I used my harbor freight 36” pipe wrench that has a max opening of 4” and it worked fine. Was like $25 so I leave it on the boat in the bilge with some other boat tools

How did you get a wrench in there? With the battery support on the stbd side and generator platform port I just don't see how? Maybe I just need to give it a try?

ah I didn’t see you have an EC. Our config on the DA is quite a bit different so there’s a lot of room around the rudder posts

Pirk up 1 of these from Home Depot and should work for you
