How to remove TV cabinet in salon?

The TV is screwed to a piece of plywood, and that is held in with 1 screw. You'll find that tucked under the cabinet, under the lower vinyl trim (front of the TV). FWIW, I found that out AFTER prying the TV off the plywood.

On my last trip, we lost power to the salon TV, and I've yet to find where problem lies. This is isolated down to the "Galley Systems" breaker circuit, which feeds the Salon TV, galley counter outlet, and the coffee maker. All are dead, and I've verified the breaker on the AC panel is good. Normally I would think this that some GFCI breaker was tripped, but where is it? This is not the same circuit as the bridge, nor cockpit outlets.

Next steps will be to remove outlets and find the first in the circuit line, but if anybody knows if a "hidden outlet" or GFCI exists please let me known.

In my boat the outlets you mention all trip the GFCI inside the sliding cabinet above the counter, nearest the outlet by the stairs.

I never looked inside that cabinet, sounds promising. I'll check that out this week - thanks!

We recently purchased a 2003 400DB in Chicago this past May. I've read this dedicated thread many times and its advice and information have been exceptionally helpful, thank you to all of the contributors. My first question, we have a small drain hole on each side of the outside bridge area. I've noticed a drip from the drains on a regular basis. Over the last weekend, I used a shop vac to clear the drains and at least a gallon or more of water came out of each drain. I'm glad to have the drains cleared, but I'm curious as to the specific area of the bridge that is drained by these drains. Any info would be appreciated, thank you.

Thanks for the tip on the 'hidden storage'!!! I might never of found that. Great smugglers hold! Make sure you slid the backrest up and don't pull it forward or you might ruin the pins that hold it in place. Anybody have any others they want to share?

This is a deductive assumption. I don't know for sure. But it appears the bridge is its own fabricated unit that sets on top of the boat. Those two holes are the lowest point in that bridge unit. My deduction is that its to drain out any water that makes its way under/behind the helm cavity. I guess one of us could take a hose up to the bridge and run some tests. Any volunteers (ha!)?

Does anyone knows we're is the " television signal selector" & Antena Tunner, I just bought 2 new flat screen TV's, I am not getting signal on the TV' so I think the seiche is connect to SHORE, and I want to change it to SHIP. I looked everywhere, I could not find the Selector. Feliz Dream, Fernando thank you.

I just found it in the salon, on the Port side next to the AC.

Overheated again!!! HELP

My weed problem persists. Starboard engine intake weeded over again and this time I GOT A BURNT RUBBER ODOR from the bilge. Can it be a defective impeller issue?? I've got the intake issue under control and have water flow coming out of the exhaust. Does not overheat but the burnt rubber odor still evident. Logic tells me the water pump and fan belt still operating properly. Any input is appreciated.
Thanks

Sounds like impellers. Are you overheating or running hot? I saw your post on South Bay Strainers. Being I live on and boat on The Great South Bay (which they were designed for) I highly recommend them. Ive never had an issue. You will most likely have to cut the clam shell strainers off. If you do them, don't skimp. Do the AC intake at the same time. Worth the investment

Milestone you inspired me to try rolling it the other way. It was quite easy.

Dear Bill
Your boat looks great with the new Infinity carpet in the cockpit and the stairs, great job. I went Online to Infinity carpet, and they have so many different options it is difficult to make a selection without seing it personally.
Which one you selected for yor boat?
I like color is not too clear not too dark. Also Infinity have different quality , wicker, Diamod, affordable, etc. I found out they also sell it in ebay. Did you bought yours direct with
Infinity? they also hav different cushions options, I am sorry if I am asking soo many questions. Fernando.

Microwave - NO POWER.

We had a very lumpy crossing (3-5 footers) this past Saturday night from New Buffalo, MI back to Chicago. I tried to use the microwave on Sunday and it was dead. No lights on the panel and no light inside the when you open the door. I checked the circuit breakers and its on.

Before I pull out the refrigerator to remove the microwave, anyone have any other suggestions on how else I could have lost power to the unit? It is only about 2 years only, so maybe it died during the trip.

Thanks in advance for any help!

We bought Wicker Weave #5. If you can't get your hands on that to see and feel it, PM me your address and I will be glad to send you one of my leftover scrap pieces.

You are right, there are lots of permutations of colors and weave pattern.

Finally, I am a new owner of a sea Ray 400, I just took possession this last Thursday, I just took it from Punta Gorda, fl to Sanibel Marina in Sanibel Fl,
4 1 /2 hours trip at 1,500 rpm and just spent less than a 1/4 of the tank,
It is only 8 feet bigger than my old 320 sundancer but what I difference, so comfortable that we spent this 4 days on the dock enjoying the boat.
Just can't wait until Friday to go back to the boat. I live in Fort Lauderdale it is a 2 hours driving to Sanibel, I prefer to have my boat in Sanibel, too many places to go just a short distance boating, I went boating to Sanibel for my wife birthday for a week, and we never took the boat back to Fort Lauderdale, it is been 3 years. CSR is an excellent place, I am learning so much about the boat in this thread, hope to cooperate to this thread as well.

Dear Bill
Thank you very much for the information, we just have the same boat with same engines. Your boat looks great, and you are making it beautiful.
I just contacted infinity carpet dealer for Florida, and he is going to send me 3 samples, I really appreciate your offer for the sample, I need to feel and touch it with my hands first.
If dealer doesn't send me the samples I will PM you my address.
Thank you very much,
Fernando.
