oh wow, very interesting. What transmission gear is that? I'm running a slightly smaller prop (22x24 LCup nibral). Engines are rated to turn 2600 RPM

I was turning 2620 Port and 2680 on Starboard. I am also thinking about having the props tweaked very slightly to get 50 or more rpm's per side.

I think it has to do with the port side vibrating shaft. At wot the starboard engine rpm's show 2,400 but the port only Tops at 1900 rpms only. it really needs to be fixed

I'd like to see the engine turn 2700 fully loaded.

I have 3116's. props were just redone 23x24 low cup, high torque. I have about 3/4 full on fuel loaded up w our stuff. I run 2800 WOT and I was about 25.5KTS. I cruise 2400 at about 20-21

I would expect your boat to run very similar to Keiths. Where is WOT on a 3126?

I'm not sure if pic will show. But this is my wot with 3/4 tank gas and full tank water. My port is affected by that wobble I guess.

You'd be lucky if the gauges are accurate, most are not. What is interesting is that your sync is spot on....You're best to measure the RPM using a photo tach direct on the engine.

We had a power surge on our dock last week. My microwave died. Does anybody know how to get the damn microwave out with out doing damage? It's the original one so losing an 18 y/o microwave wasn't to bad. Others on the dock lost battery chargers and inverters.

I have not had this pleasure (yet), but my understanding is you remove the fridge and then you can access a couple of screws that are holding the unit in place. Others may have better/more accurate information.

I just replaced my microwave a couple of weeks ago. Pull out the fridge and you'll see the screws that secure the oven. Once you find them all, just lift the unit over the lip and you should be good to go.

Have any of you done anything creative so that the water will completely drain out of the trunk? My two drain holes are at a good 1/4 inch above the bottom of the trunk. So there is always yucky water in it. On my 300DA the drains were two small troughs all they way at the bottom.

I guess I could drill new holes lower down at the bottom and use gelcoat paste to sculpt the drain edge.

You are better off than I am. I don't see any drains in the trunk on my boat

I have two small holes on each side of the cable opening. They have little plastic inserts in them (well one does - one is missing the insert). Maybe a previous owner drilled them.

I belive I have simmilar small holes - say 3/8 ID or so....

I'll look further and snap a few pics over the weekend. I never have water in the locker

Maybe there is an inside drain of some kind behind the side panels. I'll look there as well.

I have the same holes near the middle and was constantly drying the trunk after a rain. I replaced the seal around the trunk door and now it stays mostly dry.

Has anybody lubricated the sliding door leading to the salon? If so, do you have any advice on what type of lubricant to use and/or how to access the rollers?

Thanks!
