4-day Get Away over Memorial Weekend

It was truly a weekend to remember, our first overnight on our "new" boat.

Meeting John and Shelli was the icing on the cake.

You have a tough life John. Pics were great. How's KC doing? Is she finally acclimated to the boat life?

Our pleasure - truly.

John, where else do you anchor besides Shell Island?

We go out if the pass, turn to port, cruise about 15 nm, enter the pass from SOUTH (starting from three miles out or more), keeping to the NW side of the cut, then choose from 3 options. Rag boats anchor inside just NW of the cut. Classically, our group has anchored NW of the trees. Now, we enjoy the SE side if the cut well away from the crowds.

We have anchored on the SE of Redfish pt, but so do others. Inside the bayous of Tyndall AFB from Redfish point on to the ESE are very nice and secluded without beach access.

Hey, Perry. We go to your area for vacations! KC isn't the boat cat that Bebe was. She's still too wild for my interior finishes. That critter can jump and do back 1 1/2s with a half twist, over and over. Gotta make a YouTube video.
