First post, purchased my 2001 380 a few weeks ago.
When I run the shower, I get a forward pump emergency alarm.
Where is this pump located?
Why would it be going off?
Thanks.

your sump box is probably clogged and overflowing into the compartment and the high water pump that is there is pumping it out, thus setting off the alarm......there should be a compartment in the floor somewhere near the shower/head compartment - Im sorry im not more familiar with you model...

on my 2001 340DA i have 3 floor compartments in the cabin....the center compartment houses the shower drain sump (collection box)...the AC condensate water also drains into this sump....if this sump leaks the water will flow to the rear compartment in the cabin floor in the aft cabin....this compartment houses the high water sump and alarm....anytime the float switch activates the pump in this sump the high water alarm will sound....

the front compartment in the cabin floor is empty...this is where i store my camper front windows...

maybe your boat is set up similar....

Your Shower Sump pump is under the floor hatch just in front of the Salon steps. !' square box with 4 screws on each corner. Take top off and clean. The pump may be shot. If so you will have to replace.
Good Luck

I just replaced my pump located in the collection box last week.
Easy fix, pump cost $36 took 5 minutes.
My collection box is at the base of the stairs in cabin.
Good Luck!!

check where the AC condensate hose enters you shower sump box... My inlet fitting cracked and leaked water onto the floor... When I went on plane the high alarm went off... The AC line will be the 3/4" white line that goes into a manifold. It is a bad design... I ordered a 3/4" thru hull fitting with I will attach to the sump box. I plan on plugging the current AC condensate manifold inlet with epoxy and reroute the AC line to the the thru hull fitting in the sump box...

Not sure I'd say it is a bad design as it alleviates a hole in the hull assuming you have other lines going into the sump box to get pumped overboard. You might argue and say that it would be safer/better to have the cracked fitting in the sump-- than the thru-hull fitting if going direct to the outside?

Yes your are correct... I plan on using the "thu-hull" to attach the line in in the sump box, not thru the hull..
