does anybody know an approximate sales price for the new outboard equipped 370? Just poking around and thinking of trading down.

I was on the Venture at the Ft. Lauderdale boat show and the boat had a $349k price tag. That was the BoatShow price. MSRP was closer to $400.

Unimpressed. Not expecting it to be a high seller.

I Love that Boat , 350K ? Gees ... Love that Master Bedroom area with the Sofa . Not a big Ref or Shower area for that price & it needs to have The Axim Drive System , Don't know if that will work with Outboards

Love the boat, love the outdrive, WAY overpriced. The 330 There was priced at 220. 5ft more and dual outboards cost you an extra 154k. No thanks. The Pursuit SCI36 which is actually the other boat that has the Dual Outboard technology is sweet.

I love the boat. Got to ride on it and we love the cockpit concept, the outboard concept, and mid-stateroom since it is basically just the 2 of us plus day guests. In 10 years I plan to get a used one for the low $60s. Starting saving now.

Hearing these prices once in a while helps keep things in perspective for me. Imagine the young family that's doing pretty good. They get a case of the "wants", decide they can handle the payment/cost of a 400K boat especially with the cool 15yr boat mortgage. What a life changing decision. That scenario has the potential of a seven figure swing. Boating is definitely an extravagant activity.

Tiara makes a similar boat (Pursuit). Quality is way up there along with the price.

Just to put into perspective. The 370 Venture is more expensive then a fully decked out Meridian 341.

THe family went out on a 370 Venture today during our local dealer demo days. The more I am on the boat the more I like it. The cabin is roomy and the engines are so quiet it is incredible. I think I will have a hard time not upgrading next season.

It does look loike a nice boat with the innovation of using outboards on a cabin cruiser. However, going from a SUNDECK to a cruiser is more than an "upgrade". It's a change in activities and usage. The sundeck is great to entertain a large group of people at the same time. I've had 12 people on my boat at the same time with out feeling too crowded. Everyone had a seat. Can't do that with the Venture. Those cruisers don't have that kind of space outside unless it's like 50'.
It's like comparing apples to oranges. They're just different.

they are different boats but I would say that you can have a lot of people in the cockpit of that 370 Venture. Probably not 14 like the 280 Sundeck but 9 would all have a seat. The cabin is so large they would all fit there as well.

It is listed for more than I paid for my boat.............................

They call it inflation - and new vs. used. An '05 340 listed for about $275K as I recall...

20 years ago Delta bought new MD-80's for $20 Mil; Now a 737NG is $40 Mil...If you buy a 100 of them at once...Yet they are buying used MD-90s for $5 Mil...

Hopefully someone will buy a used '05 340 for $119K...

My boat was new (demo). I bought it less than 2 years ago. It is one heck of a lot more boat than the 370. The 370 seems to be a very nice boat, but, to me, the price is very, very high for what you get.

Hampton if you don't mind me asking what did you pay for your boat? The one at my dealer was listed for $340K.
