340 sundancer radio amplifier ma 2.1

hello, where can i buy repl amplifiers for my 2006 340 sundancer, when i looked at the amp it says marine audio 2.1 never heard of them before but i want something thats plug and play, i was trying to trouble shoot the radio the cockpit speakers just pop when you turn them on and no sound cabin speakers only work, i was switching rca plugs around and check connections i think the amp is not working

Check the fuse on the amp

yes fuses are ok, the speaker pops in the cock pit when turned on

When you turn on the rocker switches in the cabin, that is what actually turns the amp(s) on. My suggestion would be to pull the electrical panel out and lay it down on something soft like pillows and watch and see what happens when you turn the rocker switches on and off. You should see a light turn on, on the amp(s) when the switch is on and no light when the switch is off. Probably need a extra hand when doing this.

I just did this last week because I have a problem with MY cabin speakers. At higher volumes I get a popping sound. I replaced one of the cabin speakers and the problem remained. I checked with my A/V guy and he said he was 99% sure the amp is bad.

Down side is that the amp(s) are buried way behind the electrical panel and it looks to be a major PITA to fool with.
