Glad you had a good trip. However, 3900 is pushing the engines, just a bit hard. WOT is (if I remember correctly 4200-4600 RPM. If you can turn 4600 at WOT, then 3900 is 85% of WOT, a little high to get good life from a gasser. If WOT turns 4200, then 3900 is 93%, which is grossly high. You need to dial it back.
