I am in need of a new Dash Lower Switch Panel for a 2000 340 DA. Sea Ray apparently does not make them anymore. Any idea where I can find a used one or an aftermarket new one?

Thanks,

I am not familiar with that panel but if you can'd find it, others here have had great success using Vector LED Imaging to get replacement panels and they are a CSR sponsorer. www.vectorled.com

Jeff, if you're able to find one, maybe we can get a deal on making two? I tried Sea Ray, same answer you got...SOL. I have the same boat with the same problem!

The previous owner looks like he used a Hilti hammer drill :smt021 to screw the panel back on and has broken the tabs around 95% of the screws, so although the panel looks okay with all of the little cracked panel pieces Krazy glued back together for show, it's really just sitting there on the weight of the switches and the tension of the wire harnesses behind it.

jason78, I looked at the link and they may be a good possibility, one of the images shows a very similar panel. I'll send them a msg to see if they can do it.

There is a guy in TN with a 2001 340 who just replaced his pannels this summer... He posted some interesting tips, like don't let your wife help you, mark your wires, and take lots of the pictures... He had new pannels made and was very happy with the work... He also installed new LED back lights... Do a search you will find his posts...

Scott from Vector LED did a new set (top and lower) for our 98 330 and they look spectacular. He even included a custom logo on the upper panel. Haven't mounted them yet but will take pictures and post them when I finish the installation.

Here's what I got back from Scott at Vector today:

"Yep, I have that drawing, they are 200 each plus 15 shipping, I take paypal or check, the delivery is a few weeks minimum from payment as I cut them to order.
Thanks"

So there you have it, a confirmed source. Sounds like they're able to do just about anything if they have a drawing for it.

Good luck!

Scott's panels are a multi-layer plastic that offers scratch and UV protection that most plain plastic panels don't have, but the real reason to use Scott's panels are to get the LED lighting........way past cool!

Scott can cut anything, but the better the pattern he has to start with, the better the end result. I kept my OEM panels and sent them to him, so mine are 100% accurate......not something you are likely to find from other vendors (unless you send them the old panels) for a 15 year old boat.

How long did it take you to get it delivered from the time payment was made?

Jeff

If the question is directed at me.... It took a little longer then originally discussed, but Scott had a death in his family and I was not in a hurry.

With that being said, it took 8 weeks from date of payment to the day it arrived on my doorstep.
