300 Sundancer questions.

It's pretty easy to install yourself. I was quoted $1740

Seadeck will make it off a pattern but I figure if I can make a pattern I can make the pieces most of the 88 300 is hatches so a lot of smaller pieces

Hi, I'm new to the forum and I'm looking at a 2002 300 with 5.7L EFI's and BIII's. Has anyone tried tubing behind the 300? Not something we would do every weekend, but wondering if it's possible. I haven't read through all 80+ pages of this thread yet, but I found one post that mentioned tubing by using the search feature. There is definitely a lot of great information in this thread and I plan on reading every page. Anything else that I should be aware of in the 2002 model? I'm having a survey done tomorrow.

For sure get the survey done. I've seen the 300 pull a tube but note the 300 performs better at higher speed and doesn't like to go slow especially if your pulling kids. If you do a sea trial you'll notice this right away. Good luck with survey. Make sure the manifolds and risers have been done recently. If there 4 years old you'll have to replace even the seller said he was food about flushing. Good luck. Also get a compression check for sure for cylinders which should be part of your survey.
