Hi fellow boaters,
I am wondering if anyone has experienced the problem of the Electrical Interface Module (EIM) not working at all. I was having an issue with my trim tabs on that panel not working properly and the motor had gotten stuck in the on position somehow causing the entire panel not to work. I would have thought this would have blown just that fuse in the panel, but apparently it knock out the entire panel. The EIM for this panel is in the engine compartment next to the battery charger. Does anyone know if there is main fuse to this panel that may have blown causing the starboard EIM not to work at all? Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this problem would be appreciated.
