It's HUGE on a 280. Let's see... I have a dirt devil, a ginormous light, shoes, a float belt, beer, wine... all crammed into that space. I had to go to west marine to buy more crap just cause it wasn't full yet.

I don't think posting a picture of it's location would be very prudent...I use mine to stash my stuff I don't want stolen when in a strange marina and leaving the boat... It would be like showing you the location of the safe in my house...

Actually it is a 2009 280DA, still looking for it's new owners. I believe they (B&E Marine) had it priced at $131K or so, but probably could be had for much less.

Interestingly enough, the dimensions of the 280 are almost identical to the new style 310. Me thinks Sea Ray is playing games with numbers again.

You know I have been thinking the same thing. I saw a 08 330 and it did not appear to have the same amount of room as my 320, both the cabin and cockpit. I was wondering, since the swim platform is now part of the hull, is that were the length is going???

Like the bird though, I was being to miss our little wingless.

As I was driving home, I did think that a secret compartment with enough room to hold a petite 5-year old sounded too good to be true and thought it might be just a joke..... but Christmas was certainly early this year. Now.... should I tell my wife or not? I can use this space for my "secret" stuff instead of having another "pillow storage". : )

Not only am I finally posting a photo that shows the secret storage compartment in our 280 Sundancer, you also get to see my very petite 5 year old daughter who, in my opinion, is the most beautiful girl in the world.

Yikes, I just cleaned that compartment out today. No way that a person (even a little one) fits in there, it has to be a photoshop job on that picture. Unless she was related to Kramer. Doug are you Kramer's half brother?
