I just purchased this boat and I have two issues that I am hoping to get feedback on:
(1) bilge blower button began blinking while we were on the water when I went to restart it and idk why it’s blinking. Circuit breaker? Fuse? Other?

(2) my shifting to go into reverse is TIGHT, I’m a novice boater so this is a docking problem in full current. Best resolution while it’s in the water? Do I need to replace the cable(s)?

thanks so much
Sandy

Does the blower quit working or does it just blink? The LED’s on the keypads of the ELectronic Interface Modules (EIM) of that vintage are notorious for going bad.

if shifting in reverse is tight, you can replace the cable(s) to get easier shifting. There are two if I remember correctly. There are lots of posts about replacing them. Biggest problem seems to be getting them around the freshwater tank

Lower shift cable. It's a maintenance replacement part, and boat needs to be out of the water

Binnacle has an adjustment screw. On mine, it's a Phiilips. I sent my #s to Searay and they responded with a diagram. "Now there's something I never want to take apart!" Just didn't have much effect. Mainly, let the cables drape and bend freely. This shift assist cylinder wasn't helping. Get used to being patient but moving crisply. Yea, I still screw up shifts.
