Dear All ,
I have always some water in the ski locker on my SLX 250 ( 2008 model ) - i gues from rain via the anchor locker - and floor cleaning - now the problem is that after cleaning the whole ski locker and second bilge pump area, behind the wooden cover for the water tank pump, i found that there are 3 small holes in the floor near the float switch - see picture. so sure some water must have gone in there. When i push around the holes there is a little air and water coming out of the holes. Now my question is - is there any foam between the bottom ( floor ) of the ski locker and the hull of the boat - i guess yes ( foam ? ). What could be the problem if that foam gets all wet ??
I bought the boat last year - so who know how long those small holes are there and how many water was sucked into that foam - what should i do
I guess those holes are from a fomer bilgepump/ float switch.. ?
