Hopes, I am just trying to come up with what I think the boat is worth. There seems to be a difference between what they want for the boat and what I think it is worth, we might not get the job done, but I have not offered them anything yet, so we will see...

My thinking, If I am buying a 2007 new boat, 1 month later it is not worth more than a 2007 used boat is now. But it would be nice to have it new and with warranty, so it is worth more than a 2007 used boat is right now...

And with the market the way it is now, maybe they just want to get out of some inventory for what ever they can get... we will see what happens

Sounds like you and I are in the same boat (sorry couldn't resist)

We are going through the same process with the 2007 210 for the exact same reasons you listed.

Let me clarify that I was saying that 40% off MSRP (or more) sounded like a good deal for the 230 Select.

Let me know what happens! This thread has given us some insight on what to offer if we decide to go with the 2007 210 Select.
