220 Sundeck Carry-on Cooler

Good Idea. My only complaint about the front build in cooler is that it seems to take quite some time to cool down, and melts ice very quickly.

I have kind of the same problem on my 280...melting fast & taking a while to cool down. I pretty much solved the problem with the quick warm up, I use 16-24 oz. plastic soda/water bottles that I fill with water and put them in my deep freeze during the week. When I go to the boat I put them in a seperate cooler to take to the boat. When onboard I line the bottom of the cockpit cooler with them, put in the food, then fill in the open places with more ice bottles. This keeps things plenty chilly and there is almost no water running out of the cooler when the ice melts and keeps the food from getting soggy. Our ice for cocktails is kept in the carry on cooler. We also use the onboard fridge. but with the limited capacity of it we end up putting things in the cockpit cooler too. Works well for us.
