2023 Haul Out

Only had the new boat in the water for a Sea Trial, then off to winter storage before all the spots are gone! My main spot only had one spot left but the door was 9'3" (I need 9' 6" clearance). Fortunately my second and last indoor place had some spots left - man that was a tight fit! Buildings are locked with no access until spring.
I wouldn't like no access during the winter. But, indoors beats outdoors.

Out 11/3, tucked away nicely in the building. Last out, first in!

Ok check this shit out…… first year in heated storage my boat was 45 feet….. last year it was 46’….. ok cool it grew…… I jumped up and down mad as hell….. sent them schematics showing it was 45’…… nope our expert measurer says it’s 46’….. fuckn fuckers. This year I’m almost 50’…… wtf?….. now I do have a dinghy on the back but come on 50’…… so I’m in a dilemma do I ignore this a couple years until my boat is a 60 footer ?…..

Just go ahead an get the 60 footer in the spring.
Better yet, go down to Fla. now and snatch up a boat show leftover.

Inflation is really getting ridiculous

Tell them to kiss your ass. SR official specs say 45’.

They’re milking you. Let me guess, they put the anchor of the boat behind you right over your transom and the boat next to you within an inch of your rub rail.

So I went down there today. I had the owner and his son. All 3 of us measured 47’ and they took $100 off for the mistake
Problem was those two sold me a 20hp for the dinghy….. I should have just stayed with 50’…. That damn boat is a money magnet
