2013 Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show...anyone going?

The 2013 Ft. Lauderdale boat show is coming up later this month. October 31 - November 4. Is anyone planning on coming for it? If so, what day and is anyone interested in meeting up for lunch or dinner? We will probably be going on Sunday. Hope to maybe see some of you there!

Hey Shaun - I will be going but I haven't decided on the day yet as I return from business in San Diego on the 31st. I went last year and it was a blast. Go to the Bennett Auto Supply website for a show voucher that gets you two tickets for $5. Keep me posted on your plans and I will try to meet up with you.
 
we won't make that one but Kathy and I are talking about Miami in Feb.

Great, and thanks for the voucher!! Just printed it off and will grab the tickets this afternoon! :thumbsup:
 
I'll be down for the show. We will be going Thur/Friday and staying on Ft. Lauderdale Beach. Thursday is always a good day to avoid the crowds ;-)

I will likely go to this show as well. One of the things I like most about the Miami show is that the Coconut Grove Arts Festival is at the same time and is my favorite art show anywhere. Between the two events it ends up being an enormous amount of walking but worth it.
 
Will be down for the show - Friday-Saturday & Sunday - One day will be doing some off shorefishing - 1st time at the show - looking forward to it.
 
We'll be in Oz then but will likely go to Miami, it's a great show.
 
I've had to work the show to many times to volontarily go there now. Some years I still get suckered into going but usually don't even bother to look at the boats, just go to see people I know and chat with my vendors about equipment etc. and swap business cards.
This year I'm in Europe so did the Monaco show three weeks ago, got bored. A lot of my vendors were there but had the Euro sales/display crews working so only recognized a few people.
My boss had reps at the Monaco show and will have reps at the Ft Laud show checkin out the big boats 'cause he's in the market for a new ride in the 140'-160' range. Oh boy, we get this boat running right, now get to start over again with a bigger/newer version, LOL.

Oh well, every month I work is another payment on the 'Dancer I want, but then I'll be cursing at the work I have to do to fix my own boat, but at least I'll be doing it on my time with a beer in my hand. :grin:

RH....can't make FLL show, but have resv. Courtyard Marriott MIA in Feb. wish I could be there for both....Have fun ! Tim
