Are you taking Doug as well? :smt043

Ron,

Good location and so far a good date. I'm in.

The mastermind plan is to give opportunity for members from LI to join. You see how nice the Jersey guys are, you can’t come to us, we’re coming closer to you.

Gary was banned from AC so it had to be moved.

Cost: $4/ft. We get 10% off if we get 10 boats (not a problem). There is a electric charge as well. Something like $0.30/ft/day - bigger boats are have slightly higher electric charges. Check website for details.

It was recommended that we each bring a splitter. 50amp boats may need to split down to 2 30s or 30amp boats may need to split up to one 50. This is an effort to keep the group together.

The Table Of The Gods is to be held onboard the Lightship, which is docked adjacent to the transient dock. We have it from 6pm til whenever. They have BBQs set up and some tables. Go to the website for some pix. If there is rain, we can move the Table inside the ship. Gary is paying for the venue. What a guy!

Close to NYC (9/11 Memorial, theaters, dining, hookers on the west side), Ellis Island, Statue of Liberty (Gary has alotted $300 of his own money to pay for everyone's transportation costs to and around NYC, whether it be in a solid gold Rolls Royce Limo or a Hinckley Commuter Yacht).

No pool, no gambling (sorry). Not sure if the docks are landscaped like at Golden Nugget.

The website has a form you can download and fax in. YOU MUST MENTION YOU ARE WITH THE SEA RAY GROUP ON THIS FORM.

They require 50% down on a credit card. You can cancel 48 hrs in advance of the trip BUT you will be charged $25 per day you had reserved (ie: $50 if you cancel your July 6 and 7th reservation).

Also of note!!
Your credit card will be charged the deposit immediately after you send in your registration form.

We will eventually start a list on POST #1 in this thread with all registrants. Get your slip while it's hot. They have room for about 80 transients but that could be a busy week.

If you want to arrive earlier in the week, be warned that any arrival date up to and including July5 is considered part of the Independence Day holiday and the charge goes to $5/ft + electric, and there's a three night minimum. We are not subject to these fees b/c we arrive on Friday July 6. If you do want to come earlier and/or stay later, indicate that on your registration form.

Any questions? BRING IT ON!

Why didn't you just put all the information in post #1? I purposely didn't show up for a dentist appointment so you would have time to do this right.

He's upset because there's no slot machines. He also wanted to reply 500 times "The details are in post 11".

The Cruise Director has to work for a living. I am sure that once he gets his hands out of the last patient's mouth, he'll pony up the details.

Are you working? ...or just "pot-stirring"?

I want Krispy Kremes.

They require 50% down on a credit card (not sure if they run the card at the time of the registration or just hold it) but you can cancel 48 hrs in advance of the trip w/o penalty.....

Slight correction Mr. Poo Bah.....

If you cancel from the time you put in your reservation until 48 hrs before the date of your reservation, you are charged $25/day.
If you cancel 48 hrs or less before the date/time of your reservation, you loose your entire deposit.
If you don't show up....like miss a dentist appointement without cancelling....your credit card is charged the full amount of the reservation.

Larger boats have slightly more stringent canellation rules. I suggest that everyone read the fine print VERY CAREFULLY....

The Lightship at Liberty Landing, for those that haven't been there, is this.

The table of the Gods will be held on this boat.

There's also a ferry service to and from NYC right at the marina
