2009 Charleston Rendezvous

Check your email everyone. I just sent out the anchorage coordinates. If you have an MMSI number, send that to me, and I'll send to everyone.

If anyone else wants to join us, please let me know, and I'll share the info with you.

No word from Gerald yet. I'll try his email again.

Back up plan...if I'm not there by dark, monitor your vhf channel 69 or 16 and I'll beg for directions to you.

Mike--we'll listen on 16 for you, and I'll have something to put on the grill for you when you arrive if you haven't had time for dinner.

Your a good man Sadler, I don't care what Chuck says about you. LOL.
Is Bob going to make the trip?
All is coming together so far! I'm starting to get excited!
I don't have an MMSI number.

Mike, you were not supposed tell:lol:

Ye, it is looking good, hope the weather cooperates. Looks like I might have my son-in-law along with me. I think most of you all meet him on the last CSR Charleston trip.

Side note: I guess we are not going to have shirts this time. Paul did a great job last time.

This topic really needs to be reported. I am very jealous and envious of everyone. I will turn in my resignation tomorrow. On second thought then I could not afford the fuel bill.

Ya'll have a great time!!!! Remember the pictures

I will even spend the night on the 240 Sundeck.

Sadler happy to hear Bob will be there.

Sorry Chuck, I just have no self control!

Paul, wish you could make it. One of these trips will fall on your off weekend.
Spend the night on the 240 sundeck? I'm waiting for you to show up with your new to you 280 DA! lol

I am really looking forward to putting faces on the CSR member that will be participateing in the 2009 Charleston RENDEZVOUS, but am disapointed that Gerald will not make it. I understand that he is in charge of keeping up with the SAUCE. And I supect that there will be plenty in Charleston. AS CHUCK SAY's (GRIN) Looking forward to 5/22/09 Nicky

Who would say that:huh: Now where did that rum.. I mean sauce go.
Yep going to be fun:thumbsup:

Yea, I'm really looking forward to this as well. It's going to be great meeting everyone.

Dales steak sauce---we got that covered? With Gerald not coming, I can get that if no one else already has it. And Mike, the zing zangs? Should I get any ingredients for these? These are two Charleston CSR anchorage traditions.

With all this talk about cooking out do we want to try and do group one? What do we need to bring??

Zing Zangs...I almost forgot. Ok I did forget, but now I'm on it!
Group cook is how we did the last cook, well kind of. We just all cook what we do best then share the fixens Chuck.
Looking forward to the trip.

Traburne, are you still going to make the trip? Haven't heard from you lately. Just wondering if we are going to meet up for the run down to Mclleanville.

Have you heard from them by chance Sadler?

Traburne unfortunately will not be making it. His wife had a heart attack, is doing well i understand, but still recovering. We want to make a Mclellanville run too though so maybe we can get that one togerthter after Chas! What are zing zangs?

I've got a grill anyone can use, plus a microwave and stove that all are welcome to use. We have been grilling chicken, steak, and hamburgers/hotdogs lately, but anything you want. I'd say everyone bring their own food for the time down here, plus a little extra to share. I've also got a coffee maker and generator, so morning coffee is available. Last time we did a group drink fix (Zing Zangs courtesy of Mike), and I think we all grilled steak, thus the steak sauce drop in the creek/Gerald jump in with his clothes on to save it episode. I thought I was going to break a blood vessel laughing.

I'll miss Durango's midnight swim to the outhouse. Gerald!!!

I've got a little conflict developing where it turns out my daughter's elementary school graduation has been scheduled for the Rendezvous Friday night, but my wife is working for me to get the date changed (it's a small school, and my wife works there), or get a rehearsal scheduled that I could attend instead. My daughter is speaking at the graduation, so it's a little more than usual. All signs are that it'll not be a problem, but as soon as it cropped up, I thought I should mention it. I should know tomorrow or the next day. I'd still come to the Rendezvous, but be late that night should things not work out.
