I wanted to buy the new Yamaha Gp1800 waverunner which weighs 760lbs. Would I be ok with this on the hydraulic lift?

That gap you have your shore power cord in, between the transom and the swim platform, it should not be wide enough for the cord to fall through. My guess is that your transom is bowing under that static load. Out at sea, the load is no longer static. The force on the platform is multiplied by the vertical action of the boat. With the tender off the platform, see if the gap narrows. My tender and engine were 200# combined and the gap would squeeze a 1/2" dock line to the point that you could not remove it without lowering the platform. If the transom capacity is 800# and already flexing under that static load and a 200# person stands on the platform, you are exceeding the capacity of the transom at rest.View attachment 46732
I carry a 11ft center console tender with a 30hp motor and it weighs 700+ lbs. No issues.
