I was cranking over the motor and everything just died. There is no longer power to ignition. Is there a breaker or fuse I am missing?? If I bypass hot wire, cranks fine. Driving me crazy. The wiring schematic calls for a fuse in position 2 but no fuse and no wire. This is driving me MAD!!!!

There should be a RED push button breaker on top of the engine just behind the flame arrestor. Check to see if this is tripped. You will probably have to remove the flame arrestor cover to see it.

There is probably one of these mounted to the starter solenoid. It is a 90 amp fuse. If it is blown, you have to replace it. About $40 or thereabouts.

I added a jumper wire from the fuse block to ignition switch and the engine fired right up. I assume if that fuse was blown, the solenoid would still not fire????

Got me, bro...

I have no idea what you are jumping to and from, so I cannot answer your question.

Put a multimeter on the fuse in the photo and see if it allows current through it or not.

No current = blown fuse
Current = some other issue

But, I can tell you that if this fuse is blown, then engine will not crank and you do not get an alarm when you push the start button.

There should be an ignition fuse on the fuse block.

That's what is interesting. The schematic calls for 15Amp fuse in ignition block and wire going to ignition. No fuse...no wire...

Your problem may be different than the one I had several years back but I will mention it anyway since we both have the same model Sea Ray and the same engine.

I was getting periodic no starts with my boat, meaning I would turn the key and nothing would happen. I replaced the starter solenoid and the ignition switch itself and still had the problem on an intermittent basis. When I mentioned the problem to one of the Techs I know, he said a common problem with these motors are the contact pins where the harness is plugged together on top of the engine towards the rear of the block. That turned out to be my problem. You pull the harness apart and open up the male pins a bit (they are slotted) and put it back together and you are good to go.

Hope this helps out.
