No, WOT for these engines is 3000 RPM. % load and rpm aren't linear, so at the 2550 RPM range and at the given boat configuration(fuel load, tide, persons on board, etc), it's typically about 80% load on the smart craft.

Whew, almost tore up my diploma
I am a bit concerned that I'm only running 2900 WOT with 5/8 fuel, full water and 2 of us on board. Maybe it's the 40 pillows my wife insists on having on the boat...

THAT'S IT! I was wondering why I ran 30.1mph initially and can only hit 29.2 now. It's all THOSE DAMN PILLOWS.

(secretly I like how they look though)
