2005 260DA 6 Disk CD Changer....

When I purchased my boat last month, it was supposed to have 6 disk cd changer. Um where is it? I can't find it anywhere. What am I missing here?

On my 2006 model it is mounted on the panel above the mid cabin entrance above the stereo. It's the large silver unit in this picture.

Nope, I have nothing there. I am sure it was advertised on their web page when I bought the thing.

Oh well, I've grown too attached to the boat to even worry about it. Thank you...

Some years the changer was standard and some were optional. I have an IPOD hookup on mine and have never used the changer.

According to this, it looks like it should be where Dave's is located. It was an option and not standard on the boat. Scroll down to the pictures on page 4. Good luck with it.

Hello, I have an '04 260 and my changer and stereo head is mounted in the cabinet with the breakers and generator controls. I don't know when they moved them to the panel above the mid-cabin, you might look in the cabinet though.
I also know that sometimes it appears you have an option that you really don't have. My paper work shows me to have a maserator for the head, with overboard dump of the waste tank, but in reality I do not.

Well, it seems to me that if they advertised a CD changer and there isn't one in the boat, they owe you a changer.

Did you buy from a dealer?
