Could someone send me instructions on changing the port side fuel tank, sending unit and the part number for the sending unit

It's very straight forward. Lot's of info out there in internet land if you wanted to do some research, but... disconnect the wiring at the sender and remove the hold-down bolts. Pull the sender out. That's it. Go to your local marine store with the sender in hand and match it up.

Although it will be a couple more bucks, reach out to your local SR dealer and just tell them what boat you have - they'll figure out the rest.

You can get the part number in your parts manual if you want that - but typically those are only good at SR stores, anyways. You can download it from SR's site if you want.

Question... to diagnose a bad fuel sender you would have already been pretty much touching the sender and would have seen (it's obvious) how to remove it. Did you NOT diagnose it first... or is there something else going on?

I did notice it on port side there’s no way to access the sending unit. Looks like I may have to cut hole in floor.

Sometimes, with boats, you have to work blindly. Other times, look for an access plate (or a screwed down panel) directly above it. This might be in the mid-cabin. It's hard to tell you exactly where as I'm not there looking at your boat - but if you're handy, it's not too hard to figure out.

On my 2005 320DA there is a round access panel in the compartment under the front port side seat directly over the sensing unit. I would like to think yours is similar.

On a side note, my port gas tank gauge is always all over the place. I had a mechanic check it once and he said the wiring was OK, so imagine the sensor itself isn’t working properly (probably sticking). I do recall reading somewhere on this site about a procedure to fix it. Maybe search around a bit for that?

Good luck.
