Has anyone had the issue with the aft cabin rug getting wet? Sometimes after it rains my aft cabin rug is damp. I have looked everywhere and have found no trace of where the water is coming from.

The 300 is almost identical layout, and I had a great deal of problems with this. Hopefully not bad yet for you.

The water tank is in the mid cabin against the engine room bulkhead. There should be a plywood cover that is removable.
In my case water was running down behind the vinyl wall cover behind the aft mirror. And it would collect around the water tank until it leaked into the cabin floor. It would get behind the wall covering thru the bench mounting holes and the helm box mounting holes.

Unfortunately for me previous owners never dealt with it and it lead to water seeping into all the voids under the mid cabin.

The other common points is the side port holes, even tho they seem forward water can creep down and aft and ends up in the lowest point.
Look under the dinette seats for any traces starboard side.
Look in the back of the galley cabinets on the port side.
It can run down then to the bulkhead and follow that to the mid cabin floor.

I had a similar problem with my 2005 340DA a long time ago. However, the mid cabin floor under the sink area and settee area was wet when it rained extensively too. Long story short, what I found was that the forward port rub rail was improperly drilled near the navigation light area. There were open/miss drilled holes behind the rub rail that allowed for water to enter in the boat and weeped down to where my carpet along the galley and aft cabin (behind the steps) got wet. Once I figured that out (obviously not easy and took time), I removed the port head liner trim in the berth from the interior and the rub rail from the exterior port side and caulked it from the inside and out. Reset the hardware in the rub rails. I haven't had any issues with that area since. Only other water intrusion areas that I have had to correct are the forward bow hand rails that run midship/centerline. Both port and starboard mounting points near the overhead port holes, closest to windshield, needed to be caulked and retightened. Pain in the back side because I had to drop the headliner in the interior to ensure it was caulked both inside and out. Evidence of leakage for this was water in the light fixture just above the bench seat near the air conditioning outlet starboard and water leakage in the area where the small TV near the sink was mounted. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the input. I will have to check all of these areas. The water seems to be coming from the port side. I have checked the port hole windows and behind the cabinets and it all seems dry and no stains. The Head port hole window even when it is closed and tightened still seems to trickle water in. I'm not sure if water could be getting behind that window and coming down the inside wall?

The screw snaps for your cock pick cover could be leaking... That's what caused the leak on my 300DA... Another source to window in your head leaking...

I had an issue where the fresh water tank had a crack in the bottom. In addition, the inspection port on top didn't seal, so if I overfilled the tank, water would come out through that as well. I welded the crack closed, and sealed the inspection port. No problem since.
