What's going on with this site? 20 to 30 seconds to surf between pages. The log on no longer remembers my pass word and I'm kicked out everytime I use go to word to use spell check. No other site is giving me this issue. I cleaned my hard drive and use a 500g jump drive to store all my data on. I have 80% space left on my drives so speed should not be an issue.
I love the site an most of the posts are worth the wait but can someone please look into this? If not than i willl stop useing spel chequ and know on wants tath.

I'm just glad I got those 2 long Yacht Expo posts done last week because I would not have the patience to do it with 60-90 seconds between pages.

I don't care what the server guys says..........Houston We HAve A Problem!

Went to post a 150 word comment on Buying American this morning and when I hit submit I was kicked off the site. No more post for me with more words in it than whats in this post. No more picture uploads until this is resolved.

Oh the humanity ......

I see the slowness often myself....and no Gary...it's not the CATs. For me, it seems to be excessive expecially when trying to edit a post.

I have had the same issue for awhile thought it was my equipment but know I don't think it is... hope we can get this solved...

I've seen it when trying to edit a post. It seems that the edit saves right away, but the new page doesn't load for a while. So you can normally just click away from the page while you are waiting for it to load and the edit will be done. I have not seen a delay when browsing. On any forum its a good idea to make long posts in word or the like and paste it to the forum. I learned that the hard way years ago.

I have the software guy checking into the software end of things since the server has been ruled out.

this was at least 6-8,000 words before I edited a few out...didn't need spell check

I've learned the hard way to compose long posts in MS Word then cut/paste to CSR.

Great idea Frank, I had it too, but then when I paste it in, the script in the page removes many of the spaces. I also have encountered the script removing enters on my Blackberry. I still suspicion the page programing with all of these issues. All of the things I have mentioned in this and previous posts started with the whole virus thing and upgrade of the vBulletin. Could this be related to the auto-save feature in the page? That was new to this upgrade. This is not a list of complaints, but symptoms I have seen to help the site. MM

Tried to add a few more things to my post and it locked up when I hit submit. I wanted to add That it takes 2-3 clicks to get the "Reply to..." to open an editor. Sometimes it opens in the current page and others open a new page. MM

Ho, Don't forget the disappearing cursor:)

Something changed...my page is loading normal now.

Scratch that!! Back to dial up speed!
