2 Two Month Long Cruise PCB to St Pete

I have it myself and my lady friend also has it, caught it when in Key West the first weekend of April, I was given Doxycline and Benzonate, she was given Amoxicillian.

I started out with night sweats coughing up yellow, then went to coughing up green globs, doctor called it walking pneumonia.

That's what mine called it as well. I've had a friend who's had it for 3 weeks now. I sure hope I don't have this for weeks on end.

The first person I met with it has had it for a couple of months. His doc won't give him antibiotics - just tells him to quit smoking. We were actually all better after 2 weeks of coughing and then we were exposed again (same thing? - probably not) when my Sister-in-Law visited from Fresno. We got sick a second time.

My wife was going to go to the doc Monday, but thinks she's getting better now. We don't think ours was bacterial - no colors coming up, just clear. I haven't coughed much for a couple of days now, and none at night. While flying yesterday, I coughed occasionally. Everyone get well! It's boating season nation wide.

Being an ER doctor, I can comment a little here. This was a very unusual winter cold and flu season. Very little actual flu but I did see a lot more than normal what we normally would call bronchitis. This year in addition to being more people sick with it, it seemed to hang on for several weeks inspite of the typical antibiotics. Some times 80% of the patients I would see in a shift would have this. I never saw any official CDC or health dept confirmation of this atypical pattern but any physician around would confirm that this was a busy year for a kick-butt chest cold.

I am strong. I'm getting a huge refund. Screw them.

My wife was very sick from whatever it was, the doc finally put her on antibiotics. I never get the flu but this was a first for me. I didn't get like her but the stuff hung on for over a month. I about had it whipped I think but in prep for an upcoming surgery the doc finished it off with antibiotics. I had nothing to compare to but my wife said it was quite different than anything she's had previously. As for taxes, my goal is always to owe them.
