Hello from Alabama. Wife and I have just purchased our first Sea Ray, a 2009 210 SunDeck. I have it made...she likes football (Pro and College) and boating.

JediJD - Lake Guntersville. We have family living there and we plan to retire there is 3 1/2 years. The name of our boat is "Crimson Tide".

Congrats on the new Sea Ray. I spent 3 yrs at Maxwell AFB in Montgomery. Lots of good memories on the Al river. But I gotta say

Welcome to CSR! I pulled up Lake Guntersville - it's huge! If all of the waterways in and out are navigable you can go a long way - all the way to Knoxville.

Many fans in cruisers navigate the locks on up to Knoxville to see Bama kick Tennessee's a$$ each October. You can anchor right outside the stadium there.

It is a fantastic lake, we love it here!

We have a boathouse and weekend house in Breezeway Bay - near Waterfront grocery. Bought it bak in '04.

We spend the week working and going to school in Huntsville 38 miles to the NW, but we LIVE at the lake on weekends!:thumbsup:
