Looking for a dimension of the stern width down close to the keel. I have an opportunity to store my boat inside this winter. The cradle is 9 ft. at the base. Would this be wide enough?

Thanks in Advance

Ted

Assuming the cradle can carry the weight of your boat... Is the cradle fixed steel, or is it adjustable? My concern would be how it would fit on the cradles if the angles are fixed. When blocking a 330 the block are typically placed under the keel, and at the stern corners of the boat, which are further apart than 9'... Bottom line, I can't answer your question without knowing more information about the cradle...

Th3 330 has an 11.5 beam so 9 will be wid enough. HOWEVER.....I don't know the distance to the prop pockets. It it is a fixed width, are you going to be resting on the edge of a chine? Are you able to make any cuts in the cradle (assuming it's wood) for any raw water intakes that it may interfere with? And as mentioned, what will support the keel?
