OK, here's the new thread. I'd like to keep it specific to our model years, and specific to your upgrades, refits, and repower help.
The official thread has a bunch of interspersed topics on this, so I think over time, we can put together a cross reference instead of copying all those posts.
Standard maintenance, troubleshooting and "what's this part number" questions should stay at the official thread.

Let the games begin!

How to get Engine Data on pre-Smartcraft engines

OK, here's the first one.
Upgrade for pre-Smartcraft engines
Look up www.fox-marine.com to get your engine data from MEFI-1 thru IV engines.
I was a beta tester, and never leave home without it.
It has also moved me into the beginnings of a NMEA2000 helm.
I use a Raymarine ST-70 multfunction display, with a NMEA2000 to SmartTalk nextgen adapter.

Note that I changed the title. I think this might make it easier to find stuff in this thread.

Good to see this. Have an engine I think I'll need to deal with soon - so two engine upgrade - and look forward to that and all the other wonderful things folks have done to their 370's.

Refit: Replacing carpet in the cabin

I have started a replacement of the cabin flooring with a very low cost, waterproof, and slip resistant flooring material available from Home Depot. It is called Allure, and is a stick together vinyl planking material. I have done another boat, and a very large home with this material.
For those of you who have already replaced your floor covering, do you have a Sq. foot estimate?
Here is a pic of the mid cabin flooring installed. Note I am keeping the vertical carpeting, and will also keep carpet on the bullnose between the main floor and the mid cabin floor. floor hatches will prove to be interesting, but I have a plan.

Re: Refit: Replacing carpet in the cabin

I have finished the salon floor. Big project, but not too taxing either financially or skill wise.
Pics with no explanation here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/dpxty9q0odz4d21/AABNMitUup7ChNVCwnXdu-69a?dl=0 (hint hint, Gene for 370sundancer.com)

I plan on putting together a post about the project and the things I found along the way, including Jonnycorners for the hatches, and flextrim for the landing to the mid cabin.
4 boxes of Allure did the job, with a bit left over. That's less than 200.00! Had I been more careful cutting out the hatch portions, it might have gotten done in 3 boxes.

Looks like I am the only one interested in this thread, so I am shutting it down
Back to the official 370 thread

370 Dancer, sorry no one was interested in your thread but I appreciate the pics and info you provided. Allure flooring for my 300 we is my next project and I'm looking forward to the results

I have a whole bunch of stuff I'm getting ready to post in the 370 thread. Just did a repower. Baby's got new shoes.

Sounds good, hope folks appreciate the info.

Hello, This is R and B, we also have a 1998 Sundancer, 37 foot. Thinking about doing a re power. We are in Florida, could you give us some advice? Did you go with gas or diesel?. This is my first time posting here, hope I'm doing it right.

Let's move over to the Official 370 Sundancer thread which is full of information you are going to want to read. This particular thread didn't get any interest, so I've quit posting here.
BTW, gas, and for a particular reason. I'll elaborate on the other thread.
