Hi:
I am kind of new here. I am looking at a 1990 220 DA. It has the 7.4 engine which was supposedly rebuilt 2 yrs ago now has about 200 hours on it according to the owner. The boat seems to be always a fresh water boat. The bottom has never been painted. My first question is, if I keep the boat in a marina on a fresh water lake (Lake Lanier in Georgia), is there any reason to paint the bottom? My second question is if I take the boat down to Florida for a vacation, how will she handle in the ocean with rougher seas? Any other thoughts about this model (good or bad) would be appreciated.
Thanks
Bruce
P.S. I am also looking at some Regals of similar size and year.
