Hi everyone I own the boat that sank in the Niagara River near the Peace Bridge in NY. I am currently looking to find parts to begin restoring the boat. If anyone has parts available for the boat please let me know. I will try to get a complete list of parts; but, for now I am willing to look at most anything out there. Could anyone let me know the model years that are interchangeable for the boat.

Thanks in advance

I'm guessing here but if the 340 is like the 300 then 1985-1989 should be the same, with some minor cosmetic interior differences.

No, the 300DA/WE/EC is a completely different boat. Other than some generic hardware, not much off one of them will help.

You should be looking for a 1985-1989 340DA or EC. The EC has obvious differences ,but a lot of components will be common between the 2 boats. A challenge for you may be gelcoat color. In 1988 Sea Ray changed to Artic White gelccoat.......prior to that they used sand and perhaps another off white color.

The 340DB/345DB and the 340SF from the same years may have some mechanical components that will work, but not much of the fiberglass will.

IN the 80's Sea ray didn't hold much with model year integrety. They made improvements to the boats as they learned a better way, and sometimes it occurred in the middle of a model year. For that reason you cannot just assume everything is interchangable, you'll need to verify.

Finally, check everything I just told you.........that information is 20+ years old and my memory may not be that fresh.

Thank you both for this valuable information. As mentioned about fiberglass this happens to be a major concern right now. The company that towed it claims somehow 3 of my 4 engine deck hatches somehow lifted off and floated away. Now I know some will say that this sounds possible. I find it tough though since I had my camper canvas installed and only 1 panel was missing, but it was not ripped off since all the zippers were intact. Those hatches are huge and heavy I would expect some damage, right?

Instead of complaining anymore, I am curious if anyone has an idea on finding the hatches.:smt100
