I think that boat has more pros than cons. As you said in another thread, it was very rare with twins. Twins to most people are a good thing except from a maintenance standpoint. Make sure you get a good survey done and even oil analysis on the engines and drives to make sure they are OK. For a 25' boat I think it is a very good choice. It should hold it's value well too. Good Luck!
I remember Dad having an early 80's 260 Sundancer with twin 470's, light blue hull with a white deck - It was a great boat.
I do not recall any issues with engines and/or the boat.
He ran stainless propellors and was real happy with the engines and their performance, even when loaded down.
I personally like twins - yes a bit more maintenance but it's nice having the added securtiy in being able to get around if something should go wrong - especially if you are in an isolated area.
They are also a big bonus over a single when loaded up with gear and people.
I also agree with having a good survey done. A small amount of $$$ up front can save a huge dissappointment later.
