1970's MAKO 19' Restoration

would you re-install the original bow rail or go without a bow rail?

  • patch the holes and run the boat without a bow rail

I know this is not a Sea Ray. We wanted a smaller boat to cruise around on and hop between some different local lakes. I was originally looking for a small Sea Ray BR to fix up. Things changed when I came across a 1970's Mako 19' that needed a full restoration. This project was started by someone else many years ago. So I had to deal with fixing the errors that the previous owner did along with restoring everything to better than new condition. I am getting ready to throw in the towel until spring time as the temps are starting to get to cool to work during the winter months. I thought I would share a few photos with the Sea Ray Crowd as many of you appreciate the restoration process of old boats.
