1968 Pacemaker for sale on eBay - seems parts worth more than the boat

"The yacht went through a $1.2M Refit - Completed in 2006", for $100k buy-it-nowor up for bid.

Wow, "The bigger they are the harder they fall". MM

i think she is ugly as hell and would have no desire to be her captain. but if it really had 1.2 mil in upgrades a few years ago and it had been for sale that whole time with the price dropping from 450 to 250 to 110 to now maybe 50... sure the economy isnt perfect, but c'mon...

Big wooden boats are not a hobby, they are a full time job.

Photos of the older designs never do them justice. Climb on one of them and its like being in a woodworker's museum.....they are absolutely beautiful.

But, been there, done that, and got the T-shirt........mine was only 36 ft and it was a real challenge to keep up with everything she needed to look right, much less maintaining positive bouancy.

this is being sold by the school I went to (USMMA, King Point)... When I was there we would get donated or confiscated yachts and sell them for much less than the were worth just to get rid of them. It seems to me to well worth the investment. I have a classmate who works there and get you anyone interested in this boat the inside story... Just PM me...

I would be all over this boat if it wasn't 100% wood, or if I was retired and had the time to keep it up.

Friends of ours had a smaller Pacemaker. They are absolutely beautiful in terms of construction and interior. Frank is 100% right keeping one up is a full time job. It really is a labor of love.
