185 trailer storage size

Can anyone give me the approximate length and width of a 185 on it's trailer. Want to make sure it will fit my garage, I have a 9' wide garage door and 21.5' clear inside for storage.

You should clear. I cannot imagine that a 185 trailer is bigger than my 180, but I just measured and with a fold away tongue. It measures 20'6" from the tip of the prop to the end of the trailer with the drive centered. Its the standard 8ft wide at the wheels. Let me know if you need more measurements. FYI if anyone is interested the 2009 175 Sport in my garage measures in also at 20' 6" (give or take an inch or two measuring error) with the drive down and the tongue folded. I'm guessing both the 175 and the 185 use the same trailer.

I've got 21'4" in my garage and my '05 185 (18'6") fits straight in / drive straight with a few inches left over. I lower the drive down with a few inches clearance to the floor so that I can walk comfortably behind the boat. There is about 1 1/2 feet from the prop to the wall in this position.

Some words of caution about storing your boat with the drive down with only a couple of inches to the floor under the skeg.

I used to keep my Larson LXI 190 in the driveway with the drive down. One day I came home from work and noticed I had a flat tire.....the boat was sitting on the skeg. Luckily, no damage was done.
