185 sport boat naming/size & location

my boat is in florida and i am in nj and i would like to get the name made up. since i can not measure myself, i am asking for help.
1. where do most other people place the name on the 185?
2. what size letters will fit in that location?
pictures would be great for ideas

Why don't you do over to Marine Max in Brick, NJ and look at one of their 185's???

I can't speak for the 185 but I will say that we put our name just under our blower vent. It worked out very good on our 220 SD.
