175 Hull Deformation

I have a 1997 175 Outboard sport boat. Over the last few years I have noticed the hull on both sides starting to shrink inwards creating large dents in the side of the hull below the rub rail. Has anyone else had this problem with their boats.

Have contacted Sea Ray and awaiting a response.

It should be noted that we are just members of a board where most of the members own Sea Rays and one Tiara owner who will tell you how Tiara boats have never had deformation and if you had bought a Tiara you would not be having this problem, cause unlike Sea Ray, Tiara are not mass produced boats, each are crafted by hand...ok still laughing about that last post, sorry for getting off topic. You will need to take your issues up with Sea Ray or as the prior poster noted your dealer. If you would like advice on how you should handle you will need to provide additional information. Did you purchase new or used. Do you have pictures of what you are talking about? How you contacted Sea Ray? Anything besides my boat seems to have two dents on each side?

Its a 1997 model. In Australia. And yes have contacted my dealer who is now taking the matter up with Sea Ray Warranty dept.

Are you the original owner? There could be some many factors either inside or outside of Sea Ray that could be causing your issues.
