11 day New England trip

sorry about the pics i give up for now. i'll take any help i can get. fyi oak bluffs doesn't have fuel and from what i understand not for the rest of the year. oak bluffs was good we didn't have great weather and i think next time we would stay at edgartown. stopped at edgartown for fuel (fuel at orient pt was $4.60 a gallon and edgartown was $4.70) then we were on our way to nantauket. it was a little bit of a bumpy ride 2 to 3' head seas. we tried to follow a bigger boat for a while, but he only cruised at 15 to 16 knots. to slow for me i was plowing through the water. it was better than taking a beating but i used alot of fuel.
nantauket is great we love it hear. we might stay an extra day here then skip newport and just go to block. maybe leave block a day early and take 2 days to get home. it would be doable in 1 day, but a really long day and if i hit bad weather or seas i wouldn't make it.
this trip has us thinking about trading up to a 2005 to 2007 44' dancer or sedan bridge. if you know someone looking to sell or someone looking for a 340da.
i'll post more later and i'll get a price for fuel in nantauket

If you'll be going back via Nantucket Sound and then Vineyard Sound, then I'd suggest to stop by Menemsha for fuel.

Brian "bmac" is very serious about selling his 2007 44DB, very nice boat. PM him if you're interested.

Finished our trip! Our 11 day trip turned out to be 10 days. Weather wasnt good for Sunday so we made the call. Left Nantucket didnt get fuel there. ($6.21 for gas, $6.15 for diesel) we headed to Block and had a great ending to our trip! Kids love it there and the mudslides arent to bad either!

Journey home was long, left at 8:45am in fog til 11:15. Long Island sound was calm. Fueled up in Port Washington. Verazzano Bridge to Sandy Hook was extremly rough, 5 to 6', took a couple over the bow but we made it safe and sound.

Still havent figured out the picture problem...sorry, I know thats what I look forward to seeing with other posts! I'll figure it out for my next trip.

Thanks for all your comments and tips along the way!
