My 01 340 has a little rust and pitting showing up in the corners of the windsheild trim. Does any know of a way to repair this. I was told by a boat broker that they have used an anodized paint of some sort to touch it up.

Has anyone ever tried to make a repair? Any tips or products that work or don't work,

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advanced
Steve

I have an '02 300DA with the same issue, although it looks just like bubbled, or flaked off coating. I have heard it's anodized from others.
Am also interested in how to fix up without removing the entire windshield.

I have the same problem, and was told that taylor has matching paint... My oxidation is not too bad so I have not pursued fixing it yet...

I think this is a common problem. Everywhere they put a scrw for the bimini I have bubbles (corrossion) that got under the anodized part. Why they went away from an SS or aluminum frame is beyond me?
