Hey guys im going to look at a 06' 260 on friday... it will be my first/ starter boat. im looking to upgrade hopefully to a 370 in 5-10 years. Either way, im looking for some advice, it's probably the cheapest 260 ive been able to find and it seems to be in great shape. Theres no Gen, or AC...

I've read a lot about how's to replace the tracks, I've even found the tracks at Teak Isle, but how in God's name do your remove the helm to get to the door to replace the upper/lower tracks. Steps/pictures greatly appreciated. Or anyone in the Tampa Bay area that does this kind of work...

Not sure where to post this but am considering a new/left-over '08 260 with 6.2L, Windlass, AC/Heat, TV/DVD, VHF, Camper, etc. Latest price offer: $71k. NADA on' 08 says this deal is good; NADA on similarly equipped '07 says huge value drop coming. Any advice? Thanks!
