Is the floor of the 225 Weekender high enough for a self bailing cockpit?

Hey all, Do the 190 Sport scuppers drain overboard or into the bilge? Just wondering....For a future boat purchase is it better to have the scupper drain overboard? Scupper problem with our 1987 340SB
