I had my recently purchased '06 260 DA on the water for the first time this weekend. When I filled the freshwater tank and turned on the freshwater pump all appeared to be working ok. The faucet in the cabin and the head flowed water well after the initial "air" cleared the lines. However...
The main cabin floor and carpet was soaked. Discovered a good 3 inches of water in the "well" where the shower sump, A/C condensation, etc is located along with an "emergency pump" and an attached float switch. Given the accumulated water I had to figure the emergency pump was not working...
Is a 260DA enough boat to safely and comfortably cross Lake Michigan for the weekend and get back under typical conditions?
