Replaced my noisey "Nevercold" with a Vitrofrigo 2 years ago. The Vitrofrigo is dead quiet when running. Very happy with it. Took the Norcold out in pieces. Took the sliding cabin door of to get the Vitrofrigo in.

The same noise happens to me from time to time. Always seems to be the starboard side. A friend told me maybe the muffler is not getting enough water because of a weak impeller. The impellers were new last fall. Gauges are all normal and boat runs fine. Any more thoughts on this subject? Thanks,

I just bought a Vitrifrigo model C115ac fridge and put it in. The norcold is in the dumpster. The Vitrifrigo has a Danfoss compressor. It is so.... quiet it is unbelievable. Thanks to Go Aweigh2452 for the advice on the Danfoss compressor. Thanks to all for your input.
